I've had my EP05 buds for a couple of months and I can now offer an accurate review. At first I had a difficult time with the fit. The ear tips that came with the buds were all too big and didn't allow for proper insertion into my ear canals. My audiologist said my ear canals were very narrow and I should get xs tips. Unfortunately, ProHear doesn't manufacture any tips smaller than their small size. ProHear suggested looking for after market ear tips. I found a set on Amazon sized xs and tried them on. They fit perfectly and the buds fit securely. The tips were described as sound reduction, but I'm not sure if they are as good as the tips ProHear supplies. ProHear tips look more robust and probably more effective in noise reduction. Other than that, the sound quality is very good (Bluetooth, and enhanced ambient sound). They are a good value for the money spent and since my problem is unique to only a few people, I would recommend them as an effective hearing protection device.
Well made. Impressive sound quality (ambient noise / music / calls). My only real qualm is the touch controls are a bit sensitive. I ended up triggering music playback multiple times during my last range session. (I'm sure I'll get better as time goes on)
getting used to these prohear ear buds.
