I recently purchased a set of ProHear shooting muffs with the walkie talkie feature. I have another set of shooting muffs with a walkie walkie attachment from a popular brand. And was going to order another set for my uncle for when we go out plinking. But I saw the price of the ProHear set and after some research determined that they were as good, if not better, than the traditional brand set. After testing those, and being VERY impressed, especially per the pricepoint that I paid for them, I was convinced that I also needed a set of jobsite muffs from ProHear.I'm a bit neutral on my feelings of these, hoqever, per the pricepoint.Ive determined that these are definitely not a replacement for my jobsite muffs.I dont have a dB reader, so I'd have to assume the dB protection is accurate (maybe I'll ask the safety guys to test the levels for me, at some point). But I have had less expensive jobsite muffs, that dont have bluetooth that noticeably cut the dB levels down more.Understanding that adding the Bluetooth tech (for music) into them adds to the manufactured cost, I cant gripe on it. And, the sound quality is decent, for the price. Are they high end music muffs? No. Thats not what they are trying to be. They are PPE that allows you to not ALSO have to use wireless ear buds underneath for music. But my take on them:I got them for the sale price of $36.For that price, they suffice. If I had paid the full price, as advertised, I would have been pretty disappointed with the dB protection quality at that price. In my opinion, these are $30-$35 muffs. And considering I bought these for home shop use, they will be sufficient enough to not use my actual jobsite muffs/wireless earbuds combo at home anymore. And if the battery life stacks up to the reviews, I imagine they will work fine for home shop use.*Also worth mentioning: They also have a 3.5mm jack. So, if the battery dies and you have a music device that has 3.5mm you can still listen to music with a dead battery. That was a thoughtfully added feature in my opinion.
